Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II has made a statement about the Heisman Trophy for Colorado star Travis Hunter . Surtain was seen wearing Hunter’s Heisman T-shirt during warmups before Monday night’s game against the Cleveland Browns. Hunter is currently the favorite to win the Heisman by a wide margin, as his odds increased to -10000 after the regular season finale. He had 10 catches for 116 yards and three touchdowns in a 52-0 win over Oklahoma State.  Hunter also played cornerback for the Buffaloes and had 32 tackles, four interceptions, leading the Big 12 with 11 passes defensed and one forced fumble. His case for the Heisman Trophy is certainly a strong one, and it appears he now has Patrick Surtain in his corner.
