The idea of the Detroit Tigers even making it to the MLB Postseason may still seem far-fetched. Not only did the Gritty Tigs find their way into the playoffs but their impressive streak didn’t end in October, starting with a two-game win over Houston Astros in the AL Wild Card series. The Tigers look like a team of destiny and are a fan favorite in the playoffs. However, with super teams like the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers and even the San Diego Padres still around, not to mention their ALDS rival, the Cleveland Guardians have dominated their AL Central this season, some have wondered if this streak is just destined to end. But if you ask Tigers manager AJ Hinch, that’s not the case at all. In fact, he was singing a tune that would make you think that beating the Astros was just the beginning for Detroit.
