No. 7 Tennessee football is in its second open week of this season after posting back-to-back wins over Florida and Alabama inside Neyland Stadium. UT will play back-to-back home games again after the off week when it welcomes Kentucky and Mississippi State to town, completing a four-game homestand spanning five weeks. Josh Heupel has a 3-1 record in his time at Tennessee after an open week, though this was the team’s only loss this season at Arkansas after a week off. The Vols have won 17 of their 18 games in Knoxville since the start of the 2022 season.
