The Lions have now won six straight games to post a 7-1 record and establish themselves as the team to beat in the NFC. They are averaging 33 points per game and are currently coming off a win over the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. Houston has stumbled a bit over the past month, losing two of its last three games after being beaten by a disastrous New York Jets team, but the Texans still have a 6-3 record and a two-game lead in the AFC South.
