A high school teacher thanked Kylie Kelce and the Philadelphia Eagles after Kelce came to the rescue and sponsored her student’s trip to the NFL team’s Lincoln Financial Field stadium. Bonnie Giberson, an English teacher, posted a TikTok video on Monday, calling it a “cry for help,” three days before her students were scheduled to visit Linc. “I was supposed to take my high school seniors on a field trip there this Thursday, the 19th,” Giberson explained. “We love the Eagles. We root for them. We talk about every game. Most of my students can’t afford a field trip, that’s how I cover bus costs , and if I can’t find a solution by tomorrow, Tuesday, I have to cancel the actual tour.”

Giberson said most of her students can’t afford the bus fare to school and said it would be “a Christmas miracle” if she could find a way to make that trip. In his post, Giberson also tagged the Eagles’ TikTok pages, Lincoln Financial Field, Eagles quarterback Saquon Barkley and Jason and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast. Giberson also said Operation Snowball, the holiday initiative of The Philly Specials, whose members include Eagles offensive linemen Lane Johnson, Jordan Mailata and former Eagles player Jason Kelce, gave gifts to all students.
