The Michigan native had been committed to the Wolverines since August but Sparty gave it another shot and got him on campus after coaching changes this offseason. Kanka stopped recruiting him again and has been one of the more consistent commits, having had a very strong season for Howell. Kanka has played every position on both sides, including attacking midfielder. Currently a defensive lineman, most expected Kanka to play inside, possibly playing the 3T position as a defensive back. Kanka is a midfield disruptor, a great blocker. He would be a solid rotation player and eventual starter for Michigan.

Travis Moten has committed to Michigan and will sign with the Wolverines. A late determination by the staff, a strong senior season has the Wolverines all over Travis Moten. A late visit to campus sealed the deal as Moten made his decision on signing day. An impressive frame and still quite raw, Moten is predicted to be a ‘project’ in the defensive midfield position who will need a bit of experience before taking the field. If his promise is fulfilled, Moten could be an underrated player who becomes a very effective defensive midfielder. Jamar Browder is next, Browder is another flip Michigan was able to secure late in the cycle as he committed to NC State for more than five months before deciding on the Wolverines in early November. Quarterbacks coach Ron Bellamy and coaching Chiefs officer Sherrone Moore was able to build a strong relationship with Browder after bringing him on campus a few times before he overturned.
