After a painful loss to Michigan State, the Maryland men’s basketball team is hoping to get back on track on Saturday. The Terrapins will hit the road and take on Penn State. This will be the only game against the Nittany Lions and if Maryland can get back to winning ways, the Terrapins hope to break a few bad streaks. As the favorite, if Maryland can beat Penn State, it would be the Nittany Lions’ first win since 2015. Plus, the Terps have a 5-6 record against Quad 1 teams, and Maryland can get back to .500 with a win. But not every series is bad. Striker Julian Reese has a great chance to put his name on the all-time scoring list. Reese is seven points away from being ranked 24th all-time at Maryland and he would pass Dez Wells into the scoring ranks.

Maryland has won eight of its last 10 games with both losses coming in the last minute. The Terrapins lost to Ohio State by three points when Maryland had a chance to tie the game, and then Michigan State’s Tre Holloman hit a half-court shot to beat the Terps. Kevin Willard’s team will hope to right some wrongs on Saturday.
