Week 15 of the NFL concludes with the final Monday Night Football doubleheader of the season. Playoff – Minnesota Vikings easily beat Chicago Bears 30-12 for their seventh straight win. The Vikings clinched their playoff spot on Sunday following the Seattle Seahawks’ 30-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Before Monday’s game, former Vikings catchers Chris Carter and Jake Reed showed support for former teammate Randy Moss by holding up his No. 84 jersey during the coin toss at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Fans chanted, “Randy! Randy!”

Vikings catcher Justin Jefferson also honored the Pro Football Hall of Famer during the first half. After quarterback Sam Darnold’s seven-yard touchdown catch gave the Vikings a 10-0 win, Jefferson celebrated, telling the cameras, “We love you, Randy! This win is for you. ”  In the second quarter, Minnesota scored two more one-yard touchdowns, one by quarterback Aaron Jones in the third quarter and the other by quarterback Cam Akers in the fourth quarter, making the score 27-6 . Darnold was 24-40 for 231 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Jefferson had seven receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown. The Vikings improved to 12-2 and are tied in a three-way tie with the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles for the best record in the NFC. The Bears dropped to 4-10.
