While many marveled at Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s 2-yard touchdown pass as he fell to catcher Tee Higgins in the first half of Sunday’s NFL Week 16 win over the Cleveland Browns, Some people believe that Burrow’s knees are very close to the ground when he throws the ball. Don’t worry, Bengals fans: Even though Burrow’s knee hit the ground before the ball left his hands, he still fell to his knees when blocked by center Ted Karras. “Doesn’t matter if Joe Burrow’s knee touches the ground or not,” Steratore tweeted. “The collision that caused him to lose balance was caused by his teammate, not the defender. Correct decision about the touch here.” The TD was one of three times Burrow threw the ball in the 24-6 victory. Early in the first half, Burrow became the first NFL player to pass for 4,000 yards this season.
