Jamie Lee Curtis will not be participating in this year’s spooky festival. Curtis, 65, revealed his plans for this year’s Halloween celebration on Saturday at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles’ 2024 Gala. Curtis, who played Laurie Strode for more than four decades in the Halloween films, revealed that she “no longer” feels “pressure to do her best” on October 31.”I’ve retired my pumpkins. I’ve hung up my butcher knives. I’ve left the car. I’m bowing gently to the others who are taking over this job,” Curtis told People.

Curtis also denied watching his movie to celebrate Halloween. The actress, who made her debut in the original Halloween film in 1978, last appeared in 2022’s Halloween Ends .
