The Philadelphia Eagles are an American professional football team based in Philadelphia. The Eagles compete in the National Football League as a member of the National Football Conference East division. The team plays its home games at Lincoln Financial Field at the South Philadelphia Sports Complex. This season marked a record-breaking run for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Saquon Barkley. Heading into the Super Bowl, the Lehigh Valley native is hunting for victory with his hometown team. Whitehall High School’s Zephyr Stadium was covered in snow and ice, but the school glowed with pride because of Barkley. Barkley went on to Penn State and was then selected second overall by the New York Giants in 2018. With the Eagles this year, he had a record-breaking season.  There’s no doubt that Barkley was a great football player, but his former coaches and teachers say that’s only part of his legacy. Hartman still keeps in touch with Barkley, texting him before and after each game.
