New York Jets cornerback Davante Adams saw a branding opportunity for Garrett Wilson after the 24-year-old’s one-handed touchdown catch on Thursday. Wilson’s spectacular catch helped the Jets to a 21-13 victory over the Houston Texans. After the game, Adams mentioned the catch’s similarity to the Jordan brand logo and joked that Wilson might get some support from his current sponsor, Adidas. “I told him he could get kicked out of Adidas after that,” Adams said. “It looks like he went to Jumpman with me. I’ll talk to some people.” Adidas later joked that about Wilson’s catch, the star catcher was “going somewhere.”
