Anthony Ramos is a talented actor who has starred in the films “Hamilton”, “In the Heights” and most recently “Twisters”, you will think you are talking to a passionate baseball fan, who can host his own weekly New York talk radio show. Ramos was born in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and played for two different Little League teams. He played second baseman in high school at Halsey Junior High with dreams of playing in college and possibly beyond. He started out as a Yankees fan, but around age 6, he switched his allegiance to the New York Mets loving the underdog qualities of the team closer to where he lived.

Like most of us, the Major Leagues were unfortunately not in Ramos’ plans, but the acting life was. He received a full scholarship to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and got his big break playing Philip Hamilton, son of Alexander, in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s epic Broadway play. His career took off from there with roles in summer blockbusters and Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy nominations. However, he maintained his avid fandom for baseball and the Mets.
