Dan Campbell had a rather passionate message for his team after the Detroit Lions made team history in Week 16. The Lions defeated the Chicago Bears 34-17 on Sunday for their 13th win of the 2024 season. In doing so, Detroit set a new record for most wins in a season in franchise history commerce. Speaking to his team in the locker room after the historic milestone, Campbell shared how proud he was of his team and what they had achieved. He pointed out that it was definitely a moment they would always remember in the future.

However, the Lions head coach emphasized that the work is not yet done. They don’t need to stop at 13 wins as they have two more games left in the season and can do more. Dan Campbell certainly couldn’t have said it better. The Lions now have a 13-2 record on the season after their win over the Bears, but they have a chance to improve their win-loss record and add to their winning record. They will face a struggling San Francisco 49ers team in Week 17 before ending the season with a game against a dangerous Minnesota Vikings team . It will certainly be interesting to see if the Lions can get to 14 or 15 wins.
