All funds raised in Topeka will go to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Kansas to help keep families closer together while their children receive medical care. Topeka McDonald’s owner and operator Kevin Dobski has ordered about 15,000 flags for sale. If organizers sell all the flags, thousands of dollars will go to Ronald McDonald House. So far, over the past four years, we have raised about $80,000 through this sale, but this year it was because of the amount requested by Kevin Dobski. We could make the same amount in a year,” said Mindee Reece, CEO/CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Kansas. “So if we sold out in Topeka, we would get about $80,000 for Ronald McDonald House, which is huge.”
