Caleb Williams impressed with many big throws,two halves were played at Highmark Stadium between the Chicago Bears and Buffalo Bills with the Bears leading 6-3 at halftime. Both teams saw some quick but effective work from their starters on both sides but it was the Bears who stole all the headlines in the first half. New Bears quarterback D’Andre Swift made his debut against the Bills with the rest of the offensive line starting, along with rookie quarterback Caleb Williams. Swift had only one carry on the opening offensive drive that went for three yards.

Williams put a lot of pressure on the ball but was still able to pass the ball down to Swift. From there, Swift exploded as he raced down the sideline before being tackled by Bills cornerback Rasul Douglas. That versatility is exactly what Swift lacked in his play last season with the Eagles and is what the Bears coaching staff wanted to bring back to his game after signing him. It was during the free transfer period. The Bears’ first-round pick ended his debut with two strikes against the Bills.
