The Chicago Sky got their own Barbie and Ken in Angel Reese and Chennedy Carter after their win over the Washington Mystics on Thursday. Reese scored 16 points with 11 rebounds in a 79-71 win over the Mystics, while Carter was the top scorer with a season-high 25 points and four rebounds. To celebrate their win on Friday, Sky’s social media channel named the pair ‘Barbie and Chenn’ – a reference to the ‘Chi Barbie’ nickname that Reese gave herself after being drafted by Chicago.

Reese, 22, played college basketball at LSU, where she called herself ‘Bayou Barbie’. Reese and Carter began the week facing increasing criticism following last Saturday’s tense match against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever.
