On the 23rd anniversary of the attack that killed nearly 3,000 people and injured more than 6,000, the following events will be held in the Wilmington area to remember those who lost their lives. The 19th 343 Memorial Ride to remember those who fell on 9/11, an event organized by Red Knights MC North Carolina Chapter 6 and Carolina Coast Harley-Davidson, will be held on Saturday, September 7 at 10 a.m. at Carolina Coast Harley-Davidson at 6620 Market St. in Wilmington. A pre-trip “meet and greet” will be held on Friday, September 6, at Buffalo Wild Wings at 206 Old Eastwood Road.
